Submission to the Central Bank of Ireland

Wicklow PPN were delighted to welcome Colm Kincaid, Deputy Governor, Consumer and Investor Protection, and colleagues from the Central Bank of Ireland to Wicklow on Thursday 16th July to hear directly from local communities about their experiences of banking and financial services.
The visit provided a valuable opportunity for Wicklow PPN member organisations to share their experiences and highlight the challenges they face, including digital exclusion, accessibility, banking services and the realities of volunteer-led community organisations.
In preparation for the visit members of Wicklow PPN discussed Banking and Financial matters at our Mid-Year Members Gathering/Plenary and the submission is based on what we heard.
