Co Wicklow PPN hosted a Peer Support session for Community Centres & Halls on Tuesday 28 July in The Brockagh Centre.  This meeting was for groups that manage community halls and centres.  It focused on sharing experiences and providing peer support for groups in relation to the operation of their facilities within COVID-19 restrictions.  

Pauline Fahy, Brockagh Resource Centre and Niamh Wogan, Bray Family Resource & Development Centre shared details of their experience of reopening their Centres.  Deirdre Whitfield from the community section of Wicklow County Council will also provide information on funding streams available to support these groups in the current climate.

These sessions included information on identifying risks and highlighting prevention and control measures, including physical measures and human resource management.  Participants were also guided through a workbook which provides the key steps and templates they need to re-open.
