Wicklow PPN Submission to Draft Biodiversity Action Plan

Wicklow PPN has made a submission to the public consultation on the Draft Wicklow Biodiversity Action Plan 2025–2030.

In our submission, we welcomed the development of the plan and its strong framework for protecting and restoring biodiversity across the county. We also highlighted the importance of setting ambitious targets to halt biodiversity loss by 2030, strengthening monitoring and enforcement, and ensuring ongoing public engagement in the process.

We emphasised the need for clear reporting, collaboration across agencies, and continued involvement of community voices in shaping biodiversity policies.
