Tessa Stewart
Environmental College Representative to the Planning & Rural Development SPC
Tessa is a member of Wicklow Planning Alliance and various other environmental groups in Wicklow. Â She has helped organise group submissions to the last CDP and the Bray LAP and is particularly interested in placemaking and heritage conservation in Fassaroe, Newtown, Oldcourt and the Swan River in Bray. Â She uses her background in community organising and policymaking to help the local community work with our public representatives to build resilience and sustainability.
Paul Armstrong
Community & Voluntary College Representative to the Planning & Rural Development SPC
Paul have chaired the Delgany Community Council for the past 3 years and so gained experience of community activities and initiatives. This of course has involved review of planning aspects for the village of Delgany. As an Engineer by profession and having worked for Diageo for 34 years ultimately retiring having been CEO of the Manufacturing and Supply Chain of Guinness. Paul been a Board member of Diageo Ireland, Diageo GB, Irish Property Unit Trust (IPUT – a property investment company), Guinness Ireland Group Pension Scheme, The Bridge Project (a not for profit charity) – all providing him with broad experience of corporate and voluntary sector governance
