The International Trans Fund (ITF) has opened applications for its Empower Trans Movements grant programme, supporting trans-led organisations working to advance the rights and wellbeing of trans communities worldwide.

The programme offers two types of one-year grants.

SEED Grants of US$10,000 – US$25,000 are available to eligible organisations that have not previously received ITF funding.

THRIVE Grants of US$25,000–US$50,000 are available to organisations previously funded by the ITF and in good standing.

Applicants must be trans-led, have an annual operating budget below US$100,000, focus their work on benefiting trans communities, and contribute to movement-building through activities such as organising, advocacy, community-building or capacity development.

Organisations and informal groups can apply; individuals are not eligible.
