The National Transport Authority (NTA) has opened the Active Travel Community Fund 2027, providing funding to support community-led initiatives that encourage and promote active travel.

The fund aims to support projects that encourage people to walk, cycle and use other sustainable forms of transport, while helping communities to develop initiatives that promote healthier, more accessible and sustainable travel.

Community and voluntary organisations are encouraged to consider whether the fund could support an initiative in their local area.
