Applications are now open for the BeActive EU Sport Awards 2026, which recognise organisations and individuals using sport and physical activity to make a positive impact in their communities.

Awards are available across five categories:

• Across Generations – recognising initiatives that bring people of all ages together through sport.
• Inclusion – celebrating projects that promote social inclusion, equality and diversity through sport.
• Peace – recognising initiatives that use sport to build understanding, cooperation and peaceful communities.
• Physical Activity – rewarding projects that encourage active lifestyles and improve health and wellbeing.
• Volunteering – celebrating the outstanding contribution of volunteers and volunteer-led sports initiatives.
