The Fund has been established to provide targeted grants for individual species conservation initiatives, recognise leaders in the field, and evelate the importance of species within the broader conservation debate.  Its focus in global, and eligibility for grants extends to all plant, animal and fungi conservation efforts, without discrimination based on region or species.
