Sustaining Social Enterprise Scheme
Friday, 15 May 2026
12:00am – 12:00am
Closing Date: Friday 15th May at 2pm.
Delivered by Pobal through the Dormant Accounts Fund, the scheme supports established social enterprises to increase traded income and become more financially self-sufficient.
Funding is available for:
- The recruitment of key staff to drive income growth and sustainability, or
- The development of a shared service resource to enable existing staff to focus on income generation
The scheme is an initiative of the Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht and aligns with Trading for Impact: National Social Enterprise Policy 2024–2027, specifically supporting the growth and sustainability of the sector.
The current stage invites social enterprises to confirm their eligibility. Organisations deemed eligible will then be invited to submit a full application.
Applicants are advised to upload all required documentation in advance of the deadline, as the MyPobal Portal will not accept submissions after this time. Any queries should be submitted through the Pobal Customer Supports Portal before the closing date.
The scheme runs over a 23-month period.
