Sustainability Step-up Fund

Thursday, 28 May 2026

12:00am – 12:00am

Closing Date: Thursday 28th May at 1pm

Social innovators across Ireland are being supported to grow their impact and tackle the climate crisis through the Sustainability Step-Up Fund. This is a €1.5 million, two-year initiative backed by Zurich in Ireland and the Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht.
The fund is open to grassroots organisations, community-led initiatives, social enterprises and non-profits working to build resilience, promote sustainability, support the circular economy and ensure a fair green transition for all. Both established groups ready to scale and newer initiatives looking to step up are encouraged to apply.
Up to five projects will receive funding of up to €210,000 each, along with valuable non-financial supports including training, tailored capacity building and access to networks.
Information webinars (application clinics) will take place on the 7th May and the 19th May at 10am for anyone interested in applying.
