Measure 1 – Contact Wicklow County Council Submit expression of interests to be submitted for review, by the 9th June 2026.

Measure 2 – Apply directly to the Department by Friday 22nd May

Please note:  the CLÁR scheme area in Co. Wicklow has been expanded to include Shillelagh and Carnew areas.  The full list of Electoral areas covered by the scheme in the County are as follows:

• Ballinacor
• Ballinguile
• Ballybet
• Carnew
• Collballintaggart
• Imaal North
• Kilpipe
• Lugglass
• Shillelagh

This year’s programme includes:
• Measure 1: Developing Community Facilities & Amenities – supporting the enhancement of community spaces (apply through your Local Authority)
• Measure 2: Mobility, Cancer Care, Community First Responder & Meals on Wheels Transport – funding for vehicles and transport supports (apply directly to the Department by 22nd May 2026)
• Measure 3: ‘Our Living Islands’

For Measure 1, groups should contact Wicklow County Council for application details and deadlines, as each Local Authority manages its own process.

This is a great opportunity to support vital community services and improve local facilities, especially with more areas in Wicklow now eligible.
