Amazon and GAA Launch Glór na nÓg

Amazon and the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) have launched Glór na nÓg (Voice of the Youth), a global Community Funding Initiative aimed at empowering young GAA members and supporting youth development.

This is a €100,000 Community Funding Initiative designed to amplify the voices of young people in GAA clubs internationally.

The 2026 Glór na nÓg initiative runs until September 21st 2026, asking junior club members (10-18 years old) to share which GAA players inspire them. This GAA initiative opens participation to GAA clubs across countries outside of Ireland, expanding beyond the traditional Irish base to include the global GAA community.

Your GAA club could win one of these amazing prizes:

• Grand prize: 1 club will win €10,000

• Province prizes: 4 clubs will win €5,000 each

• County prizes: 28 clubs will win €2,000 each
