The Circular Economy Innovation Grant Scheme (CEIGS) has launched for 2026, with total funding increased to €1.5 million. A Government of Ireland initiative led by the Department of Climate, Energy and the Environment (DCEE), the scheme supports organisations developing, demonstrating and scaling practical circular economy solutions in Ireland. It is administered by CIRCULÉIRE and its secretariat, Irish Manufacturing Research (IMR).

Funding is available through two strands:

• Strand 1: Up to €50,000 for projects of up to six months.
• Strand 2: €50,001–€150,000 for projects of up to twelve months.

This year’s programme has broadened eligibility by removing previous restrictions on organisation size, and introduced a more streamlined application process.

Applications close on 12 October and must be submitted through the CEIGS online application portal.
