Rethink Ireland, in collaboration with the Sunflower Charitable Foundation, the Department of Rural and Community Development, and the Gaeltacht through the Dormant Accounts Fund, have launch the Children’s Active Play Fund.

This fund seeks applications from charitable organisations that are spearheading innovative projects aimed at promoting movement, activity, and social interactions among young people, making it easier and more enjoyable for them to lead active lives.

Supported projects will receive a combination of cash grants and non-financial supports, with funding available for up to eight projects. Each successful initiative can apply for a multi-year cash grant ranging from €130,000 to €210,000.
