The Airbnb Rural Tourism Fund is seeking applications from initiatives of all sizes that support rural tourism in Ireland and deliver real benefits to local communities.

The fund is particularly interested in projects that encourage visitors to explore rural Ireland throughout the year, across three key areas:

• Outdoor & Activity: Initiatives promoting Ireland’s natural landscapes and outdoor experiences, including walking trails, water sports, cycling routes and adventure tourism.
• Heritage & Arts: Projects celebrating or preserving Ireland’s culture, history and heritage, including festivals, traditional crafts, historical sites and local stories.
• Hospitality & Food: Initiatives showcasing Irish food, drink and hospitality, while supporting local producers, restaurants, pubs and visitor experiences.

The programme welcomes applications from a broad range of organisations, including small businesses, social enterprises, community groups, and cultural and heritage groups.

Projects involving the improvement or provision of new accommodation are not eligible for this programme.
