Wicklow County Childcare Committee
Wicklow County Childcare Committee (WCCC) provides advice and assistance to existing and potential Childcare providers, to Childminders and those thinking of Childminding, and to parents, on all issues for children between the ages of 0 and 14. WCCC is also responsible for implementing a robust child protection regime for the sector. It provides a range of administration and quality supports to parents, early years settings (including childminders) and parent & toddler groups through a programme of workshops, training, signposting, grant administration, oversight of the government’s childcare programmes (ECCE, TCE and CCS), information, advice, and guidance.
