The EirGrid GAA Community Heroes Campaign 2026 is now open for nominations, celebrating volunteers who go above and beyond in their dedication to their local Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) club and community.

This year’s campaign has been expanded to recognise even more inspirational individuals nationwide. An initial round will select four provincial winners and four runners-up. Each provincial winner’s club will receive €5,000, while runners-up clubs will be awarded €1,500. One overall national winner will then be chosen from the provincial winners, with their club receiving an additional €5,000, bringing the total award to €10,000.

GAA supporters are encouraged to nominate a deserving volunteer and help recognise the vital contribution they make to their communities.
